AIRHITCH® STEP-BY-STEP
SEVEN EASY STEPS ACROSS THE ATLANTIC...

GENTLE WARNING: READ THIS PAGE ONLY IF:

(a) you're headed for EUROPE (or, if you're IN Europe, you're headed back to the U.S. or Canada); and
(b) your primary concern is to MINIMIZE YOUR COST in getting across the Atlantic.

OTHERWISE...CLICK HERE, or just head back to the homepage! If you don't...you're just gonna get yourself ALL CONFUSED!!!

OK, so we didn't scare you off, you're still here! So here's the fundamental essence of Airhitch®, the seven steps to Airhitch® heaven:

1. Visit our website and thoroughly familiarize yourself with our systems
and how they work. [Hey, guess what? You're already here!!! LOL! But
now it's up to you to do your "homework" -- familiarize yourself with how
this radically amazing process works! Start with the General Info section
(but WAIT! NOT YET! Finish the rest of this page first! It's not that long,
really it's not!).] Once you're done, ask us questions (in chat or in email via
aoscentralemail-at-airhitch-dot-org*) if there's anything you don't understand
from what you've read.

* To see why we do not use the at-sign or dot in giving you our email addresses, click here.
2. In order to REGISTER YOUR INTENTIONS with us, fill out and submit
an AIRHITCH® REGISTRATION FORM (WAIT! Don't click yet... read
the rest of this page first!) that best defines and describes, within the confines
of the latitudes permitted by the system, the trip you want (note that registering
your intentions costs nothing and commits you to nothing
, leaving you entirely free
to search out and compare other possibilities for accomplishing what you're trying
to accomplish -- right up until the time you set foot on board a departing aircraft!);

3. Recruit your ASP (see Step 6 below!) by the time you're "ready2roll" (r2r), then, as
soon as you're r2r, or any time thereafter, after preparing yourself by doing "a little home-
work" (see the CHATROOM PROTOCOL page), recontact the Airhitch® Online Staff
via cyberchat to start your FLIGHT-BRIEFING (FB), the interactive, collaborative pro-
cess by which you'll get information on upcoming potentially Airhitchable flights and how
to board them, i.e., info like their departure times, checkin locations, itineraries, and
availability ratings, and also by which you'll inform us of any changes in your travel
plans, or in any event, even if they haven't changed, how they "mesh" with what's
available from among the flights the transportation-providers have decided to make
available to Airhitchers;

4. Decide which flight, from among the flights you will have been told about,
best approximates your desired itinerary and/or seems likeliest to have seats
on it from the availability ratings;

5. Visit the website for the transportation-provider operating the flight on the
eve of its departure to double-check final flight details; and

6. Go to the airport, following the boarding instructions associated with the flight,
and board the plane, if possible (it almost always is, if not, repeat steps 4-6; but,
if you set up an "Airport Support Person" [ASP, a person you know who
cares about your welfare, to be at a 'net-connection while you are actually at
the airport checking in and be in touch with you via voicephone], we can coach
and guide you thru the process, which varies from flight to flight). You set up an
ASP by just calling someone you know with a 'net-connection and recruiting them,
and asking them to get in cybertouch with us sometime before you leave for the airport!
(For more info about the concept of an ASP, send us an email, via the email address
aoscentralemail-at-airhitch-dot-org* or here and reach us via "live" (Instant Message) chat!)
* To see why we do not use the at-sign or dot in giving you our email addresses, click here.
7.
If you signed up for a return trip (you don't have to!), repeat steps 3 thru 6
for your return. If you didn't sign up for a return trip when you left, but feel like coming
back NOW, then repeat steps *1* thru 6!

                                                  Process demarcator

The above process will result in you getting across the Atlantic, on flights from as close
to where you are as possible to as close to where you want to be as possible, and
back, if you want, at MINIMAL POSSIBLE "NET EFFECTIVE CASH OUTLAY"
-- i.e., for a total of somewhere between $250 (one way, from/to the US or Canadian
east coast) and $800 (both ways, from/to the US west coast)! And, yes, that's all there
is to it...the details will emerge from the process and take care of themselves -- the system
and process are self-organizing!

But, the process can be "boiled down" to an even simpler three-step process: (1) tell us
what you want to do; (2) get ready to do it (which includes, staying in touch with us
to find out everything you need to know to do it); and (3) based on the info we exchange,
JUST DO IT when the time comes to do it!

                  DATZ IT! NOW THAT WASN'T

SO TERRIBLE...WAS IT???????

I'M DOIN' IT! SIGN ME UP!!

I got it, but tell me more!

I'm STILL confused!
