Instructions Copy/paste this form into your email text-editor, alter 
it appropriately so as to "fill in the blanks", and email it to us at 
airhitch@airhitch.org, with your "Subject" header line consisting of 
the phrase, "My Airhitch registration" (without the quote-marks!), 
followed by the string " -- " (minus the quote-marks!), your last name, 
and the date of the first day of your outbound date-range in the format 
ddmmm (e.g., 06jun). Thus the "Subject" header should look like this

   Subject: My Airhitch registration -- yourlastname, ddmmmyy

If you do it in exactly this format, you will help speed your
turnaround time! DO NOT add any extraneous text: if you have anything you
need to tell us about your registration, send it in a SEPARATE EMAIL.

Also, DO NOT SEND IT AS AN ATTACHMENT OR WITH ANY SPECIAL ENCODINGS. 
We will only accept it via email if we receive it as PLAIN ASCII TEXT IN 
THE BODY OF YOUR EMAIL.

If you don't have a credit-card for payment, see if you can borrow 
one from a friend or relative and simply give them the cash! ("Third-
party" credit-cards ARE allowed -- but the cardholder must provide
by fax or email attachment a signed, completed copy of the authori-
zation form to be found at www.airhitch.org/authform.txt). If you 
can't do this, you can buy a PREPAID MasterCard or Visa at most 
gas stations or 7-11-type markets, by paying a fixed amount of cash.

If neither of the above work for you, send us an email at 
payment at airhitch dot org, with the Subject: header "No credit card" 
and tell us WHY neither of the above options can work for you, and we 
will analyze your situation and see what we can do to help.

your trip; you can help speed the throughput of your registration
by deleting any unnecessary cost-calculation fields, as well as the
underscore characters and the explanatory remarks contained in
"pointy brackets" (<>), and any other information that was originally

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Milne Travel, and/or the Co-op for International & Intercultural Experience 
hereby agrees to act, under license from the founder of Airhitch®, as facilitator 
for the passenger whose name appears in the above electronic registration form, 
for the purpose of securing the transportation, between the specified regions, 
described thereon.

The passenger, by acceptance of these conditions, and the system description as 
provided on the Airhitch® Worldwide Web site, http://www.airhitch.org, which is 
hereby annexed to and made a part of these terms and conditions, acknowledges 
that the limit of Airhitch's responsibility is to assist the passenger in the 
process of securing said transportation, or an approximation to it acceptable 
to the passenger, during the date-range specified, or, failing to do so, to 
refund all monies, if any, remitted by the passenger for said assistance, under 
the conditions of refund specified elsewhere in these terms and conditions, and 
waives any claims against Airhitch® or its agents for any monetary damages beyond 
that amount. Further, the "securing" of said transportation is defined by the 
boarding of the passenger on a commercial jet aircraft operated by a transportation-
provider, duly licensed by the appropriate governmental authorities to carry 
passenger traffic along an intercontinental transportation corridor. 

The passenger further acknowledges understanding of the fact that no guarantees 
can be made by anyone as to precise departure date, city of departure, or city 
of destination, and agrees to adopt a flexible style of travel in order to 
accommodate him/herself to the possibility of changes or delays.

The passenger further acknowledges that it is his/her sole responsibility to 
contact, via the Internet, the Airhitch® Online Staff (AOS) if any problem 
occurs at an airport, or with flight details transmitted to the passenger by 
the AOS, and to VERIFY any contradictory statements from airline representatives 
with the AOS before proceeding, and that failure to do so may result in the 
forfeiture of any possible refund.

The passenger further acknowledges that (s)he assumes, in full, the responsibility 
for being in possession of all such necessary travel documents as may be required 
for international or domestic travel, and for presenting him/herself punctually 
at the time and place designated by the AOS, and agrees that Airhitch® shall not 
be considered to have failed to facilitate transportation for any passenger who 
does not fulfill the above obligations.

Further, the passenger agrees that should (s)he decline any flight offered from the 
specified region to the specified region during the specified date-range, (s)he 
becomes liable for possible costs or surcharges on subsequent flights and waives any 
right to a monetary refund of any kind.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER The passenger hereby waives, in the absence of negligence on 
the part of Airhitch®, any claim against Airhitch® or its agents for damages due to 
personal injury, property damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused or occasioned 
by any air carrier; and acknowledges that Airhitch® has fulfilled its contractual 
obligations once the voucher provided to the passenger by Airhitch® is turned over to 
an air carrier in exchange for authority to board its aircraft. The passenger further 
acknowledges understanding of the fact that all Airhitchers are subject to such 
conditions as may be set forth by the air carrier on, or in conjunction with, any 
document representing such boarding authority it may choose to issue, and that 
neither Airhitch® nor Milne nor any other AOC nor CIIE can be held accountable for 
delays or cancellations due to "force majeure", i.e., unforeseeable natural or social 
disruptive events which impede the normal operation of aircraft or the normal boarding 
of passengers on those aircraft, including, but not limited to, weather occurrences, 
natural catastrophes, strikes, wars, or violent political or social upheaval.

The passenger hereby agrees that any dispute under or concerning this agreement must be 
filed and heard in the cities of South Burlington, VT, or Santa Monica, CA. All hard-
copy correspondence must be sent to the current licensed Airhitch® Operating Company, 
Milne Travel, Inc., 40 Patchen Road, South Burlington, VT 05403.
